MAHA GOVT TAKES BACK ORDERS ON 3-LANGUAGE POLICY

The Maharashtra government on Sunday decided to withdraw its two orders on the implementation of the three-language policy amid a row over the introduction of Hindi in state schools from classes 1 to 5. The Opposition took credit for the decision and said the government had lost to “Marathi manoos”.
