At least 17 individuals, including a three-month-old girl, were killed in a tragic road accident on the Mirjaguda–Khanapur road near Chevella on Monday (November 3, 2025) morning.
The mishap occurred around 7.30 a.m. on the Vikarabad–Hyderabad stretch when a lorry reportedly rammed into an RTC bus while attempting to overtake a two-wheeler.
According to a senior officer from the Cyberabad police, sixteen bodies were shifted to the Area Hospital in Chevella soon after the crash, while another body was recovered around 9 a.m. “So far, seventeen fatalities have been confirmed,” the officer said.
