Bihar Assembly polls LIVE: Parties gear up for final day of campaigning as first phase of election nears
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (November 4, 2025) will interact with women workers of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance in Bihar as campaigning for the first phase of Assembly elections enters its final stretch. The interaction will be held under the BJP’s ‘Mera Booth Sabse Majboot’ initiative.
Meanwhile, Monday (November 3) saw Mr. Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and party general secretary Priyanka Vadra slugging it out on the penultimate day of campaign for the first phase of the elections. Mr. Modi addressed rallies in Saharsa and Katihar districts and continued to fish in troubled waters of the INDIA bloc, alleging that Congress agreed to declare Tejashwi Yadav as Chief Minister after a ‘ katta’ (country-made gun) was pointed at its head by the RJD headed by Lalu Prasad.
The first phase of Assembly elections in Bihar will be held on November 6, and Tuesday (November 4) is the last day of campaigning.
