Odisha AM/NS India HPC Athletes Excel in Sub Junior Artistic Gymnastics National Championship
Bhubaneswar, November 14, 2025: The Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre (HPC) delivered a commanding performance at the recently held Sub Junior Artistic Gymnastics National Championship 2025–26, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh where its young athletes brought laurels to the state by winning two silver and one bronze medal in individual events, and also contributed to Odisha securing a bronze medal in the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) under-12 team category.
A total of 11 gymnasts, 10 from the Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics HPC and one from the Puri Grassroots Centre proudly represented Odisha at the event.
In Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) while Om Sri Rudra Narayan Sahoo, Pikki Saketh and Sayan Chhatoi participated in the Under 12 category, the Under 14 category was represented by Priyam Mallick, Subham Kheto, Sidheswar Das, Abhaya Kumar Das and Abhijeet Pradhan. Resham Khan, Shoumyashree Priyadarshini and Sangita Halder had participated in the Under 14 Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) category.
Odisha’s young gymnasts showcased remarkable talent and discipline in the competition, bringing pride to the state with their medal-winning performances. Sayan Chhatoi delivered an exceptional individual performance in Under 12, earning silver medals in both Floor Exercise and Still Rings. Abhaya Kumar Das impressed with a bronze medal in the Under 14 Floor Exercise. In the MAG Under 12 Team Event, Odisha secured a bronze medal, with Om Sri Rudra Narayan Sahoo and Sayan Chhatoi playing pivotal roles.

The alignment of the Grassroots Centres with the High-Performance Centre in Bhubaneswar ensures a continuous athlete pipeline from talent identification to elite performance.
