Step 1: Prepare the Cauliflower
- Rinse the cauliflower florets in hot water with a little salt and drain well.
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, corn flour, salt, black pepper, and ginger-garlic paste.
- Add water gradually to make a thick batter.
- Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are well-coated.
Step 2: Fry the Cauliflower
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the coated cauliflower florets in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 3: Prepare Manchurian Sauce
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic, ginger, and onion. Sauté for a minute.
- Add capsicum and cook for another minute.
- Stir in soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar, and black pepper powder.
- Add the corn flour slurry (corn flour mixed with water) and cook until the sauce thickens.
Step 4: Combine and Serve
- Add the fried cauliflower to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
